How should I handle crazy people who come into my store during the holidays to pick fights and not to buy? During the holiday season, a lot of unstable individuals come into retail establishments to pick fights with sales staff. Being polite never gets anywhere, as these particular people will find any possible way to start a confrontation. Police calls escalate during the holidays because of these public disturbances. Any advice on how to handle these "special" cases?

How come Athiests can pick and choose religiouse holidays? I don't know much about religion but I do know that Athiests are people who don't believe in religion at all. But how come if they DON'T believe in religion they still sometimes celebrate religiouse holidays, such as christmas, easter..etc? If you and your family celebrate certaint religious holidays then doesn't that make it an organized religion because you obviously believe some type of spiritual something and there for you aren't athiests?

why do Americans always say happy holidays in place of merry Christmas? I always watch commercials and other things and all they say is "Happy holidays" without ever saying merry christmas.The same applies to when people see each other,they say Happy holidays.How many holidays at all do workers get in December especially during the Christmas period?Its only on the 25th and perhaps 1st of January to,but all they say is happy holidays.Can someone explain the rationale behind this greetings or statement and why dont people just say Merry christmas as most Saxons do?
