Will a time travel theme hurt the chances of a novel being published? I want to write a young adult science fiction novel, and I have an idea about time travel. I ask this question with the assumption that understanding of time can be informed by understanding of time travel, not only understanding of time travel can be informed by understanding of time. Time travel? Suppose for a moment that we found a way to time travel. I have a theory on how it would work. The mechanics. I would like everyone here to discuss the idea that time and space are relative but not the same. Most modern ideas about time travel insinuate that to travel back in TIME is to travel back and see different things happen in that SPACE. To travel back to 1931, you would suddenly be in the midst of World War II. But I have a theory of time and space being related but not so closely. More like 2 parts to a machine, the physical part (space) and the incorporeal, more theoretical part (time). The way I see it, to travel back in time does not mean that objects in that space will reverse age or that suddenly things from the past will show up in that space. I feel that time is more of a reference point in the universe that has no affect on what is in that space. I compare it to a pointer in programming. We have one travel agent, when she's in the area she books usually 8-20 customers with us. Other travel agents then let their travel agency know, and a voucher is printed. But this travel agent knows if she doesn't notify her travel company, she can keep the 20% commission dishonestly. This has added up to a huge amount, and after her customers have done the activity, my boss hands this woman a check for several hundred, sometimes more than a thousand, dollars. She's made I'd say at least $6000 this summer doing that. It makes me and my coworkers so mad, we barely clear $1000 month working full time. I'd like to turn this travel agent in. Does everyone travel in time at different rates? From past videos I've seen and things I have read, if you travel near the speed of time while be slower for you, thus taking you into the future. time travel part 2? There is a paradox in the whole time travel situation, if indeed it will be possible to travel back in time in the future, wouldn't we know it? By now wouldn't someone have came back in time to inform the past that there will be time machines in the future?If in fact there will be time travel in the future then what would stop some one from going back to say the birth of our nation, giving our founding fathers all kinds of up to date history books and technology and making America the only country in the world, there would also be a butterfly effect in time, because every action that the founding fathers would do to change the future would cause a new version of the same history book that the time travelers brought back, untill inevitably the book would say, "America wins all, end of story", or they would screw up the future so bad that there would be no time travel and the meeting would never take place. Well, what if the creator did not take into consideration that upon 9/11 his great, great, great, great grandfather's son was upset about the death of his father and joined the military to avenge his father, and while in the middle east he met a woman, who unknown to him was a daughter of one of the terrorist, and he had relations with her and they brought forth a son from this that would become the creator's great, great grandfather. Travel passes for Italy? I am planning to visit Italy as a tourist. My plan includes staying in Rome. Then travelling to Pisa and then finally travel to Venice from Pisa. Physics question re: time travel/teleportation? Assuming that people are someday able to both (1) manipulate and travel through wormholes and (2) "teleport" by exploiting the effects of quantum entanglement (admittedly both pretty ambitious--and optimistic--assumptions.) By all accounts, if they are physically possible on a macro scale, manipulating space and travelling through wormholes would allow time travel. Q: if you were able to "replicate" a person or macroscopic object in a far distant place via quantum entanglement (like they've already done with subatomic particles in the lab), would this create the same time-travel potential because it's essentially faster than light travel? Or is it of a different character because you're not bending/manipulating spacetime in any way? My very limited understanding leads me to guess that the latter "teleportation" would not allow time travel, and that all events at different points teleported to would enjoy the same inertial reference frame. Detail if possible why i'm right/wrong? I recognize no matter is being teleported, hence the quotes around "teleportation." My point was not to inquire as to how this is going to work once we figure it out, because I understand that both applications are generally considered unworkable in nature. Travel expense? I've travelled several times overseas last year for pleasure initially but then also had to work full-time for my employeer. Can I count that as a travel expense or partially in the tax return? Most of my work related travel is reimbursed by company except for this since it was 50-50 (personal & business work) thanks

Travel Techs..........? Is it possible to travel overseas as a travel rad tech? I've been a travel tech in the states before, but never overseas... Does that exist? And what company does it? Travel times in Wales and Ireland? I am travelling to the UK later this year and was wondering if anyone could help me with some travel times/distances. I will have a hire car and would be interested in knowing all (or any) of the following travel times. Rosslare Harbour to - Lampeter - Carmarthen - Llandovery - Brecon Also from Chester to those four places. Once we arrive in Fishguard we are then wondering where to stay once we get off the Ferry. The ferry arrives at about 5pm and we would love to get as far as Cork that night but we aren't sure about if that is an achievable distance. Would Waterford be a better option. Travel plans for holiday in USA? Im traveling to the USA from New Zealand on March 6th and will be in the USA for about a month. Can you let me know what you think of the travel itinerary? Arrive New York March 6th Savannah (or perhaps Rhode Island or Maine) - 4 Days New York - 9 Days Boston - 3 Days Chicago - 5 Days Washington - 5 Days And then another 5 days with family in Boston I would really like to spend the first few days doing something outside as Ill be jetlagged. Im meeting friends in NY and going with them to boston and then about a week later I have to go see family in Washington. For the first few days could you recommended anywhere nice outside? I thought Savannah but also have family in Hartford who I could stay with (or I thought Maine may be nice). Im mainly planning to travel by train but am happy to fly.

Travel Agent? or searching travel sites myself...? I am planning a trip to Miami in Mid-July. I was wondering is it better to search various sites like Expedia.com and Hotwire.com, etc to find the various deals. Or would usuing a travel agent be a good idea? Travel from Stuttgart to Luzern to Zermatt and back to Stuttgart in June? Hi, I'm a budget traveller who is interested in travelling from from Stuttgart, Germany to visit Luzern and Zermatt in Switzerland. I only have a week to travel to these two places in June. Is there any advice on the cheapest transport I can take and travel tips as well? Oh, and would anyone be able to provide me information on these two places?
