Any old lodges or resorts featuring main lodge family dining and activities? In the 1960s we frequently visited lodges and resorts in the U.S. (one in Canada) where there were a bunch of log cabins and a main lodge. There was a "meal plan" at the lodge where everyone gathered in the main lodge for their breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner and this was part of the weekly price. There were also a lot of activities for the kids and entire family. Are these old-style lodges and resorts still in existence, and if so, where? Have you been to one recently?

How come some skiers are so rude to snowboarders at ski resorts? I know it is NOT a generalization. But I have seen plenty of those "mid-age" skiers are pretty rude to snowboarders at ski resorts. They ski around like they should be the only people on the slopes. Of course, there are snowboarders out there that are not considered to others. But most of the snowboarders that I have seen in CA (at least) are fairly nice. Snowboarders pay just as much at the resort and deserve to be there.

Are the beach resorts in Nasugbu, Batangas easily accessible via public buses from Pasay? Do we need to take a cab/jeepney/trike to explore the beach resorts? Anyone been to the beach front in Texas, and if so where and what are some good resorts to stay at? I've been to Bali many times and the last time was there for 4 weeks. This time will be 3 weeks. So I've seen lots of both Bali and the surrounding islands. It will only be for a week of our trip. In that they told me to download and sign and send it to benin immigration services for visa and workspermit prossesing.I have done the same thing .Benin immigration services send the visa form and re-emburencement form and told me to send the forms after signature and send $1350 threw western union.These are the govt visa processing charges.So i have informed to radisson hotel and resorts.They told me that this is the govt processor that every candidate entering to benin has to do so you do what benin immigration services told.But how i can belive that after sending the money i will get responce are not.So i ask Radisson hotel and resorts that you arrange my visa and workspermit,what ever expences will be deducted from my salary.But they send the reply that they cannot take risk that after spending money if the candidate not willing to join.Same way i am also thinkingthat after sending money if i am not getting reply to whome i should ask.So tell me weather i have done right or wrong.

What Ski resorts tend to have the warmest weather in December? My wife and I and our 6 yr old are planning a trip for early december to go skiing and play in the snow. Is Global Resorts Network better than YTB as both are travel businesses? I joined global resorts then found ytb. YTB seems to be an excellent business, but for last minute travel. It concentrates on hotel vacations, has an upfront cost & monthly fee. But I loved their owner's speech on the travel biz, & their site is excellent. Global Resorts Network is very new on the net, started dec 06. Its affiliated with a company that has been in business 20 years.. its the marketing arm. It has a onetime fee only, no monthly fees. Plus their market is different ... grn concentrates on luxury travel to 4 & 5 star resorts worldwide (though it covers hotels & does cruises & travel same as YTB) But you can book in advance with GRN (as well as up to 72 hours before a trip).They encourage you to call them for special arrangements. Disney Value Resorts?!? So, I go to Disney all the time and have stayed in every delux resort there is multiple times. I have never stayed in a value resort however. Sandals Resorts? Are the Sandals Resorts for married couples only? My boyfriend and I have been dating for a while and want to take a vacation. I'm all for the all inclusive resorts and I would prefer a place where there are no children. I like kids, don't get me wrong. But, resorts that are family friendly, tend to pay more attention to kids/families then childless adults. I don't want to book a trip there to find out it's all married couples? Riu resorts - where to stay? My husband and I won a trip off the radio and we have to choose a RIU resort from Los Cabos, Punta Cana, Jamaica, Peurto Vallarta, Cancun or the Riviera Maya. We stayed at the Barcelo Maya resort last year in Riviera Maya and loved it, so we were thinking of the Riviera Maya again, but would like opinions since it would be nice to try something new. We would mainly be going to relax or a possible fishing trip, we are not much into the night life. What toiletries do resorts provide, so I know what I have to pack? What do resorts usually have in stock for you as far as toiletries? I know it depends mostly on how expensive or fancy the resort is, but as a standard, what do they usually give? We're staying at..what was it called! Sandals resorts in late October? I am getting married in late October and my future husband and I are looking into having our honeymoon at a Sandals resort. We are looking to stay 7 days. Do you have any recommendations for which Sandals resorts are best in October? I worry most about it being hurricane season. My huband and I have been to the Moon Palace and love it. We're just wondering if there are cheaper resorts that are just as nice. One thing we like about Palace Resorts are the free excursions.

Sandals Honeymoon Resorts........? My fiance and I are planning on going to a Sandals Resort for our honeymoon in March. I've heard something about purchasing all-inclusive Palace Resorts (e.g. Cozumel Palace, Beach Palace, Playacar Palace, Cancun Palace) cheaper. Riviera Maya Resorts? My husband and I are planning a last minute getaway for our 1 year anniversary, around 8/5 to Mexico. Here are the choices: Aventura Spa Palace, El Dorado Royale, or Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa. Has anyone been to any of these resorts and if so could you tell me a little about your experience there? I know August is very HOT in Mexico, do you think it would be too hot to go sightseeing? Thanks!

WDW - Can resort guests access (via car) the MK resorts by Vista Blvd. , then turning onto World Drive? I would like to Drive to the other resorts but do not want to go through the Toll Plaza of the Magic Kingdom... NO! I am staying at the resort so I do not have to pay to park!!! Thanks for thinking the best of people. My question is exactly how it reads! I believe I have been mis-understood. I am staying at a resort and need to get to the Contempory early, before buses for a breakfast. I do not want to get caught up into MK traffic at the toll plaza.

are the all star resorts of disney world really that big? I've been checking out reviews for the value resorts at Disney World, (the three all stars and pop century) and one of the most common complaints is that the walk from some of the farther buildings is a hike. This is understandable but looking at the maps of the resorts they don't seem as huge as people make them out to be. It could be that I'm not one to complain about walking far distances, but are the resorts really that big?

Are the Disney value resorts close to each other? We have decided to stay at the movies resort but it looks like there is alot to see at all of the value resorts and other resorts. We are driving from Oklahoma and won't be going to the park the first day. Also I read that you can't bring wagons. Why? Do they rent them? I have a 4 year old and I know he will get tired. I guess I could use a stroller if I have to but I don't think he will be too happy about that.

Are there really "sex resorts?"? I have seen on TV (movies) where couples go away for a weekend to resorts where it is all about sex. There are other couples there but the entire resort is set up to "promote" sex. I have even seen where resort employees are consultants and suggest certain positions ect. They are probably expensive if they exsist but . . . . do they and where can I find one?

Good ski resorts? This summer i am hoping to go skiing with a few friends...and i need some recomendations for skin resorts in europe that are reasonably priced as we are all only 16. we want somewhere thats really pretty and has lots of those cute little ski runs through the trees and stuff haha. and lots of red/blue runs...not a resort where they;re all really hard any suggestions?

Punta Cana Resorts??? I am booking a vacation with my friend in Feb to go to Punta Cana (yes Punta Cana...I do not what Puerto Plata) I have been on trip advisor to check out reviews, but its too hard to go by as one person thinks its the greatest resort ever and the next person wouldnt go back if it was free. I was wondering if anyone can tell me of some resorts you've stayed at that you enjoyed.
